Where are the bathrooms?
Public bathrooms are located at Lakeview Park
What happens if it rains?
The event is WEATHER DEPENDENT. In the event of bad weather, set up and registration may be delayed up until 10:30AM. If bad weather continues, the event will be held next year. If bad weather occurs during the contest, participants may continue at will or at the discretion of the event organizers. This event may be canceled at anytime if weather warrants cancellation.
What time can I start building my sand sculpture?
Sculptures may be started at any time on the day of competition, commencing at 9am, but must be completed for judging by 2:30pm.
Participants must register their entry anytime between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM

How much does it cost to enter the contest?
Registration is FREE.
What are the age divisions for participants?
There is no age division and is open for everyone.
What is the People’s Choice Awards?
The general public can vote for their favorite creations by completing an event evaluation. All regular contest rules apply.
How are Judge’s Favorites determined?
The entries are judged on “Structural Engineering,” “Use of Materials,” “Imagination,” and “Overall Aesthetic Appeal.”
How do I collect my prize if I am not present for the awards ceremony?
Prizes not collected on the day of competition will be mailed to the address on the winner’s registration form.
Will a list of winners & photos be posted after the contest?
Yes, a full list of contest winners and photos will be posted on our website as well as our Facebook page.

What if I get injured during the festival?
The event, and it's organizers are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the festival
